All women are invited to attend the LWML!
We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 1 pm. Each month we look at a new study, taken from the Lutheran Women’s Quarterly, so please consider joining us! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
What is LWML? Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). LWML is for each woman of the LCMS and provides women with opportunities to grow in their relationship with the Lord through studying His Word in Bible studies, serving together in fellowship, and supporting missions and missionaries around the world and in our own backyards through MITE offerings (we give out small boxes to fill with coins) and prayer. It is a sisterhood of Lutheran women working side by side, growing together, and caring for each other as they serve when and where our Lord has need of them.
What is LWML’s Mission? Realizing that each woman has been blessed with different gifts, LWML provides opportunities for women to share them. Fellowship with women from other churches takes place at rallies, workshops, retreats, servant events, and training opportunities. Yearly conventions provide avenues to worship, study, learn, and fellowship with their Sisters in Christ.
Who are the women of the LWML? To put it simply, LWML women are represented by all ages and from all walks of life who share stories, support missions, and become forever friends.
