Local Missions

We believe that we should be connected with our community, in doing so we support a variety of local programs according to need.

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” Matthew 25:40

We are to be generous because our Father is generous, and it is our joy to show His generous heart to the world. Each year support goes out from our members according to community needs. Over the years, we have given donations of time, money, food and gifts to the Hudson Backpack Program, Grace Place Women’s Shelter, Operation Help and others.

Hudson Area Food Cupboard

Family of Christ is proud to be one of the twelve local churches that participate in operating the Hudson Food Cupboard located in the basement of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Vine Street in Hudson. Family of Christ’s month to serve is November when we provide all the volunteers to stock the shelves and serve the clients. In addition, our vegetable garden harvest gives fresh vegetables from summer through early fall and volunteers also help with sorting food drive deliveries at other times throughout the year.
